V'day celebrations

Not the most typical of V-days but uncanningly similar in some ways as well. I cooked for my beloveds (note the 's'.. i have more than one beloved :P). We (Qianyi, Ting and me) had mushroom & potato soup, meatball with sausage and mushroom spagetti, chicken pieces, macademia chocolates and grapes!



Qianyi went mad with all the love showered on her that day and took these weird photos. I played some V'day pranks as well. Qianyi and me tricked Seok into thinking that TS sent her a rose. She freaked out completely, thanks to my superb acting skills. Seok and me also tried to trick Qianyi by sending an annoynomous rose but she was less guillible. Hahaha. 

The Long Overdue B'day Pics

Had an excellent meal with my family at some German Restraunt in Siglap - the sausages rock! You can't see it clearly from the pics but my parents bought me a cake with the icing "Happy 21st Birthday". Trust my parents to know me so well... how I wanna be 21 forever and never grow old. Haha.



Celebrations with my friends from VJ (LSHM and MSisters), Hall, DHS, and even a primary school friend (Xiaowen!). Thanks everyone for the great time, really enjoyed spending time with you guys, goofing around and sharing secrets. I really appreciate the company and treasure this friendship with you!

So oh well, I'm 22! Huat ah!

And I'm One Year Older

The birthday's over and I'm a year older... Can feel the ole bones creaking and the knee giving way. As well as the spiritual fatigue that usually plague the despondent and weary.

Me: Shit. In 8 years time, I'd be a 高龄产妇
El: Eh?
Me: In 8 years I'll be of an age where giving birth (if I ever do) becomes dangerous!
El: Don't worry. 高龄产妇 is at the age of 35, not 30.

Thanks for the reassurance, El! Take it from the medical student, she can never be wrong. And I can add another 5 more years to my expiry date. Whoopee!
